Residential drug treatment offers many benefits – but this type of drug rehab experience is neither the only effective form of drug treatment nor a standalone “cure-all” for individuals who are struggling with substance abuse and addiction.
For many people in need of comprehensive drug addiction treatment services, outpatient, partial hospitalization, or day treatment programs may be the ideal means of beginning or continuing their recovery from the depths of drug addiction.
Some drug rehab patients find day treatment to be an effective step-down or transitional program between full residential drug treatment and a return to completely independent living. Day treatment provides extensive therapeutic, educational, and support services while also allowing the patient to experience limited independence by returning home at the end of each daylong session.
At New Life Lodge, our day treatment program offers a wide range of treatment services and support without requiring the patient to remain on our campus on round-the-clock residential status.
New Life Lodge’s day treatment (partial hospitalization) program operates Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. If they wish, patients are also invited, at no charge, to attend the Spiritual Meeting and afternoon presentation on Sundays.
Depending on their unique needs, day treatment patients at New Life Lodge will participate in a variety of individual and group therapy activities. Day treatment at New Life Lodge may also feature participation in process groups, interactive groups, and educational groups. As with all forms of drug addiction treatment at New Life Lodge, the goal of day treatment is to provide the ideal combination of services that will prepare the patient to pursue successful lifelong recovery.
For overnight stays, patients pay an additional overnight fee. Alternatively, they may return home at the end of the day and come back the next morning for day treatment. Patients are also given support to connect with a 12-Step Program in their home area.
