Where is your drug rehabilitation program located?

• New Life Lodge is a freestanding addiction treatment facility that is housed in the heart of the Tennessee countryside, amid 120 serene and secluded wooded acres in Burns, Tennessee.

Who do you treat?

• For more than 25 years, New Life Lodge has been providing alcohol and drug rehabilitation services for adults who are struggling with addiction.

How much will treatment cost?

• Treatment at New Life Lodge is a highly personal experience, with associated costs depending upon a number of issues, including the specific nature of your problem being treated, the amount of time you will need to remain in treatment, and the presence of any co-occurring disorders. Our intake advisors will be happy to work with you to develop an accurate picture of what your treatment will cost.

Does your addiction treatment program accept insurance or provide financing options?

• Yes, we accept most major insurance plans (though we are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid as primary insurer). We aim to be as cost-effective as possible in delivering the highest level of care, and we work closely with patients, families, partners and insurance companies to establish feasible payment plans.

Are your staff members licensed?

Is your program accredited?

• Yes. We are licensed by the Tennessee Department of Health Care Facilities.

Do you provide drug and alcohol detox services?

• Yes. Our medically monitored detoxification program features 24/7 medical and nursing supervision to help patients withdraw from alcohol and drugs in a safe manner. For details visit our Detox page.

Does New Life Lodge support AA/NA and similar 12-Step programs?

• Yes, we do. We believe that the 12-Step philosophy, combined with other therapies, provides the most effective method of achieving sobriety. Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous meetings are an integral part of our daily programming.

How long will I need to be in drug rehab treatment?

• The residential drug rehabilitation programs for adults at New Life Lodge are for a variable length of stay, plus any applicable detoxification period. Determining the ideal length of stay involves an analysis of a number of personal factors, including the nature and severity of the addiction and the presence of any co-occurring disorders. Our professionals will take all of these issues into consideration as we work with you to create the personalized program that will put you in the best position to pursue long-term recovery.

Will I be required (or permitted) to take medication during treatment?

• We utilize a variety of medications during medically assisted detox including Vivitrol and Suboxone. All medication determinations are made on an individual basis, and always involve the informed consent of the patient.

What can I bring with me during treatment?

• We suggest that patients bring five days of clothing (we have laundry facilities in each cabin), a small amount of money (less than $20) for vending machines and other personal expenses, and a calling card for calls home if you live outside of the area. Cell phones are not allowed, and no food or drink can be brought in. We furnish linens but you may bring your own quilt or pillow if you wish.

What types of programs do you offer?

• We provide a continuum of services including comprehensive evaluations,  medically managed detoxification and rehabilitation, day treatment, and residential programs. Will my family be involved in my treatment?

• We certainly hope so! We have created an intensive family program that we recommend to every patient and their loved ones. Holistic in nature, the program includes education and counseling sessions with and without the patient present. Learn more on our family program page.

Do you offer an aftercare program?
