As part of the CRC Health Group network, New Life Lodge continually strives to set, meet, and exceed the highest standards in patient care.

As evidence of our commitment to this pursuit, New Life Lodge is proud to be certified by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, which is more commonly known as CARF.

CARF was established in 1966, when the Association of Rehabilitation Centers (ARC) and the National Association of Sheltered Workshops and Homebound Programs (NASWHP) united into one accrediting body. CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services in a range of areas, including behavioral health.

CARF now accredits programs in 17 nations in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. CARF accreditations may be earned in the following fields:

Aging services
Behavioral health
Child and youth services
Employment and community services (including vision rehabilitation)
Medical rehabilitation (including durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies)
Opioid treatment program

Within the Behavioral Health Field, CARF evaluates a range of program standards, including the following:
